Christian Rammig is Managing Director/Head of Data Science at Otto Group data.works GmbH. After graduating from high school, he first completed officer training in the German Armed Forces and then studied business administration with a quantitative focus at Helmut Schmidt University in Hamburg. From 2009, Christian Rammig was a research assistant at the Institute for Operations Research at Helmut Schmidt University until he joined the Otto Group as a Data Scientist in 2012 to help set up Group-wide Business Intelligence. Since 2016, Christian Rammig has headed the Otto Group's Data Science department and is now Managing Director / Head of Data Science at the Otto Group data.works GmbH.
